Our company offers quality and professional "UAV" Inspection Services for any type of building or structure where periodic inspections are required. When it comes to high structures such as wind turbines, electrical poles, electric transmission lines or bridges, aerial inspection is often the most cost effective solution as it becomes costly and dangerous to send humans by crane or OSHA approved harness rigs. UAVs are also exceptionally useful for covering large tracts of land, like those found at solar power installations and concentrating solar power sites, easily and quickly.
NE Services' solution to costly inspections of industrial facilities is the emerging technology of UAVs. UAV stands for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (popularly known as drones) and usually take the form of a medium to large scale multirotor propelled helicopter normally controlled by 1-2 operators on the ground. Our inspection team can set up and start inspecting within minutes, reducing production time by 70% in comparison to
traditional methods. This is the safest, most cost-effective way of inspecting structures from
above, getting up close and personal at angles like never before.
This new technology allows us to capture high definition live streaming video no matter the
height or access of the target area. Our team of rigorously trained and professional UAV
pilot/inspector teams are capable of performing the necessary inspections in a fraction of
the time, while bringing the risks of injury or damage to assets down to zero. Our inspection
process is in accordance with active codes and regulations making our service
the best way for you to obtain a better inspection, for a lower price, with even better data
collection.
Although several options are available to suit your individual inspection needs, NE services' base UAV workhorse consists of an 810mm diameter, six rotor hexacopter design with powerful reliable motors that limit equipment downtime as well as costly equipment related crash damage that is known to occur in our competitor’s smaller four rotor quadcopter designs. Our UAV is also unique in its ability to allow a "ride along" passenger/ inspector. All of our UAVs have a high definition camera and/or thermal imager mounted underneath on a stable motorized 3 axis gimbal that is connected to a pair of wearable video glasses. The glasses offer active head tracking linking them to the high definition camera, meaning that wherever the inspector’s head moves the camera mounted on the UAV will mimic its motion. Similar technology can be found in the sophisticated Apache military gunship helicopter, where the pilot’s helmet is linked to the helicopters main gun. NE services invested in this military grade technology to allow its customers the option of using their own highly qualified inspectors while our expert pilots concentrate on the flying aspect.
